An ebullient Takuma Sato is all smiles after his win in the Indianapolis 500 after a late race pass of Helio Castroneves, at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Sunday, May 28, 2017.

Takuma Sato, thank you.

Thanks for an exciting finish to the 2017 Indy 500, but more, thank you for helping to create this gift.

Japanese commentators were rightfully ecstatic as Sato became the first Asian driver to win the Indy 500 on Sunday. It was only his second career win, but don't tell these guys that.

As Sato rounded Turn 4 and slowly clinched a win over Helio Castroneves, these guys get more and more excited. Their voices, exclaiming words we can't translate (but don't really need to), slowly climb octave after octave and eventually evolve into succinct shouts.

For what it's worth, Bing Translate tells us this Tweet says: "SATO Takuma Japanese first indie 500 winner! Does anyone know what this greatness may be less. I'm a really great thing. What's really amazing thing. Congratulations on your. Congratulations really. You are the best!"

Thanks for nothing, Bing Translate.
