Brookfield Central girls soccer was well-represented on the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association all-state teams, as four players were honored.

Sophomore forward Emma Staszkiewicz was named first-team all-state after leading the Lancers with 31 goals and four assists.

Midfielder Brandi Thomsen took home second-team all-state honors. The sophomore scored six goals to go along with 11 assists. Junior midfielder Claire Haynes and senior defender Rachel Kolb were named honorable mention all-state.

The Lancers finished 15-0-3 and 6-0-1 in the Greater Metro before falling to eventual state champion Divine Savior Holy Angels in the sectional semifinal.

Brookfield East senior forward Abby Gregg, Brookfield Academy senior forward Annika Washburn and Brookfield Academy senior goalkeeper Jennie Novak also were on the honorable mention all-state team.
