Brookfield Central's softball team finished 11-3, one game behind Greater Metro Conference co-leaders Menomonee Falls and Divine Savior Holy Angels. The Lancers were 13-6 overall

Megan Arndorfer, former Wauwatosa East coach, and co-coach Alyssa Robison did a fine job.

'This season was great,' Robison said. 'The girls chemistry made this season as successful as it was. They were all there for each other through everything on and off the field. It was incredible and really showed between the lines. They came up big in some games, and we lost some heartbreakers. Brookfield Central has a strong future, and I cannot wait to see what next season will bring.'

The Lancers will lose three seniors: Crystal Sicard, Jen Dobias and Cailtin Kampshroer.

Central had four All Conference players, including three first-team choices — pitcher Crystal Sicard, infielder Alexa Rayborn and outfielder Katie Dobrzynski — and second-team infielder Emily Smyczek.

The Lancers gave out three team awards.

Crystal Sicard was Most Valuable Player, Rachel Sicard was the Most Improved, and Dobrzynski earned the Coaches award.
