Brookfield East closed out their season with a 58-48 loss at second-seeded Racine Park on March 4 in the WIAA regional semifinal.

Park improved its overall record to 22-2 after finishing the regular season as the Southeast Conference Champion with a perfect 14-0 record. East finished 4-20 overall.

The Panthers did most of their damage in the first half, racing off to a 32-17 lead. East coach Matt Malett's Spartans played a much better second half, actually outscoring Park, 31-26.

Senior Alex Plavsic led the Spartans in scoring with 13 points, going 4-for-4 from the free-throw line with one 3-pointer.

Junior guard Jake Graf finished with 11 points, with one 3-pointer, while going 2-for-2 from the free-throw line.

Senior forward Dominic Cartier finished with 10 points, including a perfect 6-for-6 from the charity stripe.

Sophomore forward Patrick Cartier finished with 8 points and junior guard Sam Gauger with 6 points.
