Sophomore Andres Peralta-Werns tied his season high of 28 points and sparked Brookfield Central to a 96-71 victory over Racine Case in a WIAA regional semifinal game on March 4 at Central.

The 96 points were 15 higher than the previous high of 81 in a win over Milwaukee Hamilton on Dec. 30. Peralta-Werns nailed seven 3-pointers, and senior Andrew Bruggink added 24 points, including seven of eight from the free-throw line, against 11th-seeded Case (9-16).

Central jumped out to a 42-29 lead at halftime against the Eagles and then added to their lead with a 54-42 second half.

Senior Chris Reisner added 10, including four of four from the free-throw line, and senior Andrew Wojcik added 8. Eight players had between 1 and 6 points.

The Lancers then lost at Marquette, 54-47, in the regional final on March 5.
