Brookfield Central's girls basketball team dropped its second consecutive game and fell to 2-4 overall and 0-2 in the Greater Metro Conference with a 62-47 loss at Divine Savior Holy Angels on Dec. 13.

The Dashers turned a 32-32 halftime score into a 15-point win by outscoring the Lancers, 30-15, in the second half.

Caroline Busch led Brookfield Central with 21 points and five rebounds, knocking down 11 of 16 free-throw attempts. Leah Swenson added 9 points; Ellery Nordling had six rebounds and three assists; and Amanda Miller collected three steals.

The Lancers shot 37.5 (12 for 32) from the field and 5-for-18 (27.8 percent) from beyond the arc.

Ovi Young paced the Dashers with 16 points, while Alyah Garcia added 13 points.

Brookfield Central's game against West Allis Central on Dec. 16 was postponed because of last weekend's snowstorm. A makeup date has yet to be announced. The Lancers were scheduled to face Oak Creek in a nonconference game on Tuesday, Dec. 20, before hosting Menomonee Falls at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23.
