Is this the best campaign ad of 2016? You decide

The 2016 election has left us inundated with ads of all kinds, but the real winner of the 2016 ad wars may be the man running for re-election as a Travis County Commissioner in Texas.

Gerald Daugherty's positive ad features his wife pleading for voters to keep her husband in office.

The ad features Daugherty helping his wife around the house and hosting friends for dinner. But he just won’t stop talking about work. Throughout the whole ad Daugherty is talking about issues — jails, taxes, transportation — in a steady stream, no matter what he's doing or who he’s with.

Meanwhile, his wife, Charlyn Daughtery is talking straight to the camera.

“Gerald doesn’t really have any hobbies,” she says before confirming to a friend that her husband is obsessed with his job “all the time.”

“Most people leave their work at the office,” Charlyn Daughtery continues. “All he wants to do is fix things.”

“Please re-elect Gerald," she adds. "Please.
