On Monday, the McDonald’s in Needham, Mass., held a retirement party for Freia David, WBZ-TV reported.

Since 1984, David has run the McDonald's fryolator.

“I make a lot of fries,” David told WBZ-TV.

David found her job at McDonald's through the Charles River Center in Needham, a support home, for adults with disabilities.

She was one of the first people at the facility to be placed in a job, WBZ-TV reported.

And while David admits she will miss her friends, she said she is looking forward to retirement at the center.

“I get to relax and take care of myself,” she said.
