Some people can’t wait to get away from their hometowns, but for six Brookfield natives, the opposite is true.

In a comical rap video to pay homage to Brookfield, The Bluemound Hounds make references to a number of local businesses and locations.

“Even though it is very goofy, we made the video in appreciation for our school, which shaped us into men and how we were raised in such a loving and accepting community of Wisconsinites,” Michael Shammo said.

Shammo is pursuing music as a career and regularly operates by the name Boy Syrian; however, for this side project, he went by The Calhoun Loon.

Joining Shammo were his friends Tanvir Bajwa, Merrick Wells, Dominic Ricci, Michael Hur and Micah Wong.
