Public ice skating: Grab your skates and take a spin around the ice at the Eble Ice Arena, 19400 W. Bluemound Road, from noon to 3 p.m. each weekday (also 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday). The cost is $6.50 for adults and $5 for children and senior citizens. Skates can be rented for $2.50.

First Stage & Tales by the Fire: Join First Stage for an interactive storytelling workshop that will provide adults and children a chance to take part in activities inspired by “Lovabye Dragon,” a musical adapted from the book by Barbara Joosse. This is the story about the friendship between a lonely girl and a lonelier dragon.
