Public ice skating: Grab your skates and take a spin around the ice at the Eble Ice Arena, 19400 W. Bluemound Road, from noon to 3 p.m. each weekday (also 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday). The cost is $6.50 for adults and $5 for children and senior citizens. Skates can be rented for $2.50.
Meet the Artist: Join artist Tyler Meuninck in a reception for his exhibit at the Ploch Art Gallery at the Wilson Center, 19805 W. Capitol Drive, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Meuninck’s paintings feature overlooked, regional panoramas of cityscapes in transit. Register for Rec Programs: Registration for youth and adult winter and spring programs offered by the Brookfield Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department begins either online at ci.brookfield.wi.us or in-person at the department’s office in City Hall, 2000 N. Calhoun Road, at 8 a.m. In-person registration will be first-come, first-served concurrent with online registration. Registration will continue at the Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department office on Monday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or online until the programs begin or classes fill.
