Theft

Thousands of pieces of jewelry and a silver Apple laptop were stolen from a locked vehicle parked at the Sheraton, 375 S. Moorland Road, at approximately 7:15 a.m. July 31. It is possible that the unknown suspects left the scene in a vehicle described as a light brown minivan. A lock on the passenger side had been popped in order to gain entry.

A 17-year-old girl was taken into custody for retail theft and a 17-year-old boy was taken into custody for party to theft at Zumiez, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 4:57 p.m. July 31.

A number of Xanax pills were stolen from a room at Town Place Suites, 600 N. Calhoun Road, sometime July 31.

A Bluetooth speaker valued at $75 was stolen at Goodwill, 18605 W. Bluemound Road, at 11:40 a.m. Aug. 2.

A 42-year-old man was cited for retail theft after attempting to steal merchandise from Pick ‘n Save, 2205 N. Calhoun Road, at 2:52 p.m. Aug. 3.

A passenger side mirror was stolen off of a vehicle parked in the 18700 block of W. Bluemound Road sometime before 6:33 p.m. Aug. 3.

Two 16-year-old girls were taken into custody for retail theft after attempting to conceal merchandise at Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at 8:35 p.m. Aug. 4.

A Nikon camera was stolen from Portrait Innovations, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 5:42 p.m. Aug. 5.

Drug possession

A 27-year-old man was taken into custody for OWI first offense and possession of marijuana at West Capitol Drive and Lilly Road at 11:45 p.m. Aug. 3.

A 16-year-old girl was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at Mound Zion Cemetery, 14510 W. North Ave. at 10:13 p.m. Aug. 6.

OWI

A 52-year-old man was cited for OWI second offense at McDonald’s, 300 N. Moorland Road, at 1:11 a.m. Aug. 4. The man’s blood alcohol content was 0.16.

Other

A 19-year-old man was taken into custody for disorderly conduct after his sister reported that he had punched her at a residence in the 17500 block of Bolter Lane at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 4.

Town of Brookfield

Drug possession

A 21-year-old woman was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest at Motel 6, 20300 W. Bluemound Road, at 9:20 a.m. Aug. 5. A syringe and a kit used to inject heroin was found in the woman’s vehicle and upon being told she was under arrest she physically resisted officers.

OWI

A 35-year-old man was cited for OWI third offense and operating a vehicle with open intoxicants after being found passed out behind the wheel at 7-Eleven, 19600 W. Bluemound Road, at 4:21 p.m. Aug. 4.

Other

A tire was slashed by an unknown suspect at Jose’s Blue Sombrero, 20371 W. Bluemound Road, sometime before 10:30 p.m. July 31.

Elm Grove

Robbery

$200 in cash was stolen from Baker’s Square, 15300 W. Bluemound Road, at 8:11 p.m. Aug. 6 by a man who displayed a silver handgun. The suspect escaped the scene and is described as a black man in his 40s, short in height, having salt and pepper-colored hair and wearing a hoodie. The man fled in a vehicle.

Drug possession

A man of undisclosed age was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop in the 15000 block of West Bluemound Road at approximately 3:45 p.m. Aug. 5.

OWI

A man of undisclosed age was cited for OWI second offense after being found sleeping in a vehicle at West Bluemound Road and Crystal Lane at 2:07 a.m. July 31. The man’s blood alcohol content was 0.11.

Other

A man was cited in the 1000 block of Woodland Avenue for an unlicensed dog and a dog at large after his dog bit a resident at approximately 8 p.m. Aug. 4.
