CITY OF BROOKFIELD
A black 2014 Lexus was stolen from a residence in the 3100 block of San Juan Trail sometime between 5:30 p.m. May 7 and 8:45 a.m. May 8. The vehicle was left unlocked with a key under the mat. The vehicle also contained approximately $4,000 worth of golf clubs.
The “East” sign valued at $800 to $1,000 was stolen from the front of Brookfield East High School, 3305 Lilly Road, sometime between 8 p.m. May 5 and 2:20 p.m. May 7.
A paint sprayer, a GPS and an iPhone cord were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 4100 block of Pilgrim Road sometime between 8 p.m. May 7 and 6:50 a.m. May 8.
Approximately $30 in change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 2900 block of Lilly Road sometime between 9 p.m. May 7 and 7 a.m. May 8.
$937.99 worth of merchandise was stolen from Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at approximately 11 a.m. May 8. The suspect was known and was referred for charges of retail theft and trespassing.
A 2004 Honda Accord was stolen from the 3500 block of Hilltop Drive sometime between 7 p.m. May 7 and 12:14 p.m. May 8. The car was left unlocked with a key under the mat.
A “Black Lives Matter” sign valued at $100 was stolen from the front of Unitarian Universalist Church, 13001 W. North Ave. sometime between May 7 and May 9.
An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from Lee’s Dairy Treat, 14040 W. Greenfield Ave., at approximately 10:20 p.m. May 9. The suspect gained entry through a rear door. Two doors, a filing cabinet and a cash register were all damaged.
A 26-year-old man was taken into custody for felony retail theft after attempting to steal merchandise from Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at 10:18 a.m. May 10. The man was also referred on additional charges for another retail theft, two counts of bail jumping, two counts of trespassing, one count of possession of a theft detection device remover, one count of possession of stolen property and two outstanding warrants.
A catalytic converter valued at $1,100 to $1,200 was cut and stolen from a vehicle parked in the 4500 block of North 124th Street, sometime between May 5 and 11:05 a.m. May 10.
Two duffel bags full of merchandise were stolen from Victoria’s Secret, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 3:02 p.m. May 10 by two suspects described as black women in their early 20s. One was wearing a jean jacket and grey shirt and was approximately 5 foot 7 inches and weighing approximately 180 pounds while the other was approximately 5 foot 5 inches wearing Nike leggings and a track jacket and a hat.
A black and grey jacket was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 4400 block of North 149th Street at approximately 11:11 p.m. May 10. The caller reported that two suspects entered multiple unlocked vehicles in his driveway while another two remained in a suspect vehicle on the street. Only the jacket was stolen.
Two sets of keys were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 4600 block of North 149th Street sometime between 8:30 p.m. May 10 and 10:55 a.m. May 11.
A catalytic converter valued at approximately $300 was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 4600 block of North 145th Street sometime between 7 p.m. May 7 and 6:20 p.m. May 11.
A Macbook Air, an iPhone and a number of other items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 19000 block of Overlook Circle sometime between 11:30 p.m. May 11 and 10 a.m. May 12.
A 45-year-old woman was cited for theft after stealing a shopping bag from a woman at Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 6:44 p.m. May 12.
$300 was stolen from a residence in the 16800 block of West Lisbon Road sometime before 7:32 p.m. May 14. The complainant reported that multiple family members have access to the home but there are no suspects at this time.
A comforter and formula were stolen from Walmart, 15205 W. Greenfield Ave., at 4:08 a.m. May 15 by a suspect described as a black man wearing a white beanie hat, black sweatpants and a black sweatshirt.
A resident in the 1100 block of Chester Street reported that an unknown suspect attempted to cut a screen at his house at 4:49 a.m. May 9. The resident turned a light on and saw the suspect at which point the suspect fled.
A 21-year-old man was taken into custody for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at Mary Knoll Park, 605 S. Sunny Slope Road, at 12:08 a.m. May 15.
A 23-year-old man was taken into custody for OWI second offense after rear-ending a police squad car at North 124th Street and West North Avenue at 2:15 a.m. May 14.
A 28-year-old man was taken into custody for OWI causing injury after a two-vehicle accident at West Capitol Drive and Lilly Road at 12:52 p.m. May 14.
A 17-year-old girl was taken into custody for domestic violence/disorderly conduct after getting into a physical altercation with her mother at a residence in the 20300 block of Sutter Creek Drive at 5:38 p.m. May 13.

A black computer bag and an iPad with a total value of $540 were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 1300 block of Pioneer Trail sometime between 11 p.m. May 9 and 7 a.m. May 10.
A T-shirt valued at $4.99 was stolen from Hobby Lobby, 18200 W. Bluemound Road, at 5:04 p.m. May 11 by a suspect described as a white man with brown hair, a short beard and standing 5 feet 10 inches and weighing approximately 200 pounds.
A 49-year-old woman was taken into custody for escorting without a license, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of heroin at Motel 6, 20300 W. Bluemound Road, at 1:58 p.m. May 10.
Two fishing rods, a blue bag, and a wallet containing cash and coupons were stolen at Village Park, 13600 Juneau Blvd., at approximately 8 p.m. May 12. The complainant told police that he and his friend left the items on the ground near the pond while they fished nearby.
A man of undisclosed age was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop in the 15200 block of West Bluemound Road at 11:33 p.m. May 12.
A man of undisclosed age was cited for disorderly conduct at a residence in the 13500 block of Watertown Plank Road. While pulling weeds in his yard the man’s pants and underwear were pulled down to the top of his legs with his buttocks completely exposed.
