A mother reported that at approximately 3:30 p.m. April 20, her son and two other boys were walking in the area of Talbots Lane and Astolat Drive when a vehicle described as a dark-colored SUV being driven by a subject described as a white man in his 20s asked if the children wanted a ride. The boys said no and the man did not follow them or interact with them further.
A 33-year-old woman was taken into custody for domestic violence - disorderly conduct after a physical altercation with her husband at a residence in the 18200 block of Taywood Circle at 9:50 p.m. April 18.
A 26-year-old man was taken into custody for retail theft after concealing $65.94 worth of merchandise at Ross Dress for Less, 12575 W. Capitol Drive at 7:47 p.m. April 17. The man was also charged with one count of bail jumping and one count of carrying a concealed knife.
An iPad and a cellphone were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at Dick’s Sporting Goods, 345 Discovery Drive, sometime before 4:57 p.m. April 18.
A basketball hoop valued at $150 was stolen from a residence in the 16700 block of Meadow View Drive sometime between 9:30 p.m. April 18 and 7 a.m. April 19. The complainant told police that he had previously seen a vehicle described as a white pickup truck pull into his driveway. Two men had exited and one knocked on the front door while the other walked around to the back of the residence. The men then re-entered the truck, moved to the end of the driveway and remained idle for a few minutes before leaving in an unknown direction.
A 20-year-old woman and a 21-year-old woman were cited for retail theft and possession of stolen property at Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at 2:36 p.m. April 19.
A pair of headphones valued at $379 were stolen from Xperience Fitness, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, sometime between 8 and 8:10 p.m. April 19 after the owner accidentally left them on a treadmill.
A 24-year-old woman was taken into custody with a charge referred to the district attorney’s office for retail theft after concealing merchandise at Target, 12725 W. Bluemound Road, at 1:18 p.m. April 20.
An unknown amount of merchandise was stolen from H & M, 95 N. Moorland Road, at approximately 7:35 p.m. April 21 by two suspects described as black women. One suspect was described as having very long braids and wearing a grey track suit while the other was described as shorter, heavier set, with straight hair and an olive green jacket.
A subject of undisclosed age and gender was cited for retail theft after stealing merchandise from Victoria’s Secret and Zumiez, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 6:46 p.m. April 22.
A necklace valued at $15 was stolen from a store at Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 4:45 p.m. April 23 by a suspect described as a black woman in her 20s standing approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall with a thin build. The woman was accompanied by two children.
A 40-year-old woman was taken into custody for retail theft at Burlington Coat Factory, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, at 7:49 p.m. April 23.
A 20-year-old man and a 21-year-old man were cited for possession of marijuana at Xperience Fitness, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, at 10:07 p.m. April 20.
A 17-year-old boy was taken into custody for possession of marijuana in the 14400 block of West Greenfield Avenue at 12:44 a.m. April 21.
A 34-year-old man was taken into custody for OWI first offense at Midway Best Western, 1005 S. Moorland Road, at 2:08 a.m. April 23. The man’s blood alcohol content was 0.15.

An Upper Boom Control Box valued at $7,510.80 was stolen from a service vehicle at Innovative Design, 21795 Doral Road, sometime between 4 p.m. April 15 and 7 a.m. April 17.
A 40-year-old woman was cited for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop at West Wisconsin Avenue and Woelfel Road at 12:52 a.m. April 18.
A 24-year-old woman was cited for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop at Ramona Road and East Moreland Boulevard at 3:53 p.m. April 20.
A 41-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct after being verbally abusive toward staff at Motel 6, 20300 W. Bluemound Road, at 5:07 p.m. April 20.
