CITY OF BROOKFIELD

Theft

A guitar was stolen sometime before Feb. 22 and Feb. 24 from the Guitar Center, 17135 W. Bluemound Road.

Eight cans of baby formula valued at $151.92 were stolen from Pick 'n Save, 17295 W. Capitol Drive, at approximately 1:55 p.m. Feb. 24 by two suspects described as an older white man and a black man.

$140 worth of merchandise was stolen from H&M, 95 N. Moorland Road by two suspects described as black men at 7:10 p.m. Feb. 27. One suspect is described as having worn a black knit cap with two pom-poms and having a neck tattoo.

A 17-year-old girl was cited for retail theft after attempting to steal a jacket valued at $119 from Target, 12725 W. Bluemound Road, at 2:57 p.m. Feb. 28.

A 14-year-old boy was cited for retail theft after consuming items without payment at Pick ’n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 5:27 p.m. Feb. 28.

Approximately $1,500 to $1,600 worth of tools were stolen from a work van parked in the 4300 block of Continental Court sometime before 7 p.m. Feb. 28.

A purse containing W2 forms, a driver's license, two Social Security cards, debit cards and keys and described as brown or tan in color and Michael Kors brand was stolen from a kiosk at Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moorland Road, sometime before 1:42 p.m. March 1.

Approximately $400 worth of clothing items were stolen from a store at Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moorland Road, at approximately 4:24 p.m. March 2. The suspects are described as a black man in his 20s standing 6 foot 3 with a slim build, short black hair and light blue or grey eyes and a black woman in her 20s standing 5 foot 7 with black hair pulled back in a mid-back-length ponytail.

Six outgoing checks were reported stolen from the mailbox of N J Schaub & Sons Inc., 4435 N. 124th Street. The checks were placed into the mailbox at 11 a.m. Feb. 8 and were supposed to be picked up at 1 p.m.; however, the business reported March 3 that it has since learned that the checks never made it to their destination.

A 16-year-old boy was cited for retail theft after concealing merchandise at Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at 2:09 p.m. March 3.

A 17-year-old boy was taken into custody for retail theft after stealing a bottle of liquor from Piggly Wiggly, 2315 N. 124th Street, at 3:42 p.m. March 3.

A 19-year-old woman was cited for retail theft after concealing merchandise at Zumiez, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 4:23 p.m. March 3.

A mailbox was stolen from a residence in the 15400 block of Saint Therese Boulevard and thrown into a nearby creek sometime between 2:30 and 8:30 p.m. March 5. The complainant noted that the mailbox had also been stolen the previous week for a total of three times since November.

OWI

A 29-year-old man was taken into custody for OWI fourth offense after a traffic stop at North Calhoun Road and West North Avenue at 2:43 a.m. March 3.

A 37-year-old woman was cited for OWI causing injury after a three vehicle accident at North Moorland Road and West Bluemound Road at 2:08 p.m. March 3.

A 55-year-old man was taken into custody for OWI third offense at I-94 and South Elm Grove Road at 12:26 a.m. March 5.

Vandalism

A rock was thrown through the window of a FedEx truck at Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, sometime before 5:30 p.m. March 2.

Other

Two 18-year-old women, one 18-year-old man, a 17-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy were cited for trespassing after being found on the roof of Kohl’s, 2315 N. 124th Street, at 12:42 a.m. March 6.

TOWN OF BROOKFIELD

Drug possession

A 20-year-old man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 20800 block of George Hunt Circle at 2:43 a.m. March 4.

OWI

A 60-year-old woman was cited for OWI at Salto Gymnastics, 21950 Doral Road, after arriving to pick up her daughter at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 28. According to a breath test the woman’s blood alcohol content was 0.157.

A 28-year-old woman was cited for OWI second offense at I-94 and West Bluemound Road at 1:38 a.m. March 4. According to a breath test the woman’s blood alcohol content was 0.26.

ELM GROVE

Drug possession

Two subjects of undisclosed age and gender were taken into custody and referred for charges of possession of marijuana after a traffic stop in the 13000 block of West Bluemound Road at 4:39 p.m. Feb. 27. A third subject was referred for a charge of carrying a concealed firearm without a license.

A man of undisclosed age was taken into custody and referred for charges of possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 12900 block of West Bluemound Road at 11:50 p.m. March 3.

OWI

A woman of undisclosed age was cited for OWI third offense and having open intoxicants in a vehicle at West Bluemound Road and North Moorland Road at 10:25 p.m. March 1. According to a breath test the woman’s blood alcohol content was 0.37. There were two open bottles located in the vehicle.
