Robbery

An employee was punched in the face at Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, while a suspect described as a black man standing 6 feet tall and wearing a ripped jean jacket attempted to steal a hoodie and sweatpants. The items were recovered but the suspect struck the employee and fled the scene.

Theft

Two sets of tires and wheels with a total value of $5,787.60 were stolen from Mike Juneau’s Brookfield Buick GMC, 13000 W. Capitol Drive, sometime between 5 p.m. Jan. 21 and 8:30 a.m. Jan. 23.

Two girls, ages 15 and 14, were cited for retail theft and possession of stolen property at American Eagle, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 4:47 p.m. Jan. 23.

Eight to 10 pieces of Nike apparel were stolen at Dick’s Sporting Goods, 345 Discovery Drive, by a suspect described as a black woman wearing a black winter coat, black high boots and a tan winter cap at approximately 5:10 p.m. Jan. 23. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.

A cellphone was reported stolen from Chili’s, 17915 W. Bluemound Road, at 9:09 p.m. Jan. 23. The complainant stated that she left her phone at the restaurant and upon returning was unable to locate it.

A 52-year-old man was taken into custody for retail theft after switching UPC codes on trading cards at Target, 12725 W. Bluemound Road, at 1:54 p.m. Jan. 24.

22 items with a total value of $1,200 were stolen from Vitamin’s 15455 W. Bluemound Road, at approximately 4:15 p.m. Jan. 24.

A 28-year-old man was taken into custody and referred to the district attorney’s office for charges of retail theft, possession of illegal prescription drugs and bail jumping after attempting to steal merchandise from Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at 5:17 p.m. Jan. 24.

A PlayStation 4, 20 games and two controllers were stolen from a residence in the 600 block of Forest Grove Court sometime before 7:06 p.m. Jan. 24. The complainant stated that he suspected his 16-year-old daughter may have taken the items.

Thirteen bottles of Dove Body Wash were stolen from Walgreens, 15738 W. Capitol Drive, at approximately 1:21 p.m. Jan. 25. The suspects are described as a black man in his late 40s wearing a grey, white and blue jacket and a black winter cap and a black woman in her late 40s with a short ponytail and wearing a black winter jacket with red logos on it, a black headband and a red and white plaid shirt. The suspects left the scene in a vehicle described as a gold Infinity missing its back bumper with a license plate of 736-WCY.

A 34-year-old woman was taken into custody and referred to the district attorney’s office for charges of retail theft, resisting arrest, endangering safety and bail jumping after attempting to conceal $1,300 worth of merchandise at Target, 12725 W. Bluemound Road, at 4:50 p.m. Jan. 25.

A 17-year-old girl was cited for theft by virtue of employment at Pick ‘n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 6:51 p.m. Jan. 26.

$826 worth of merchandise was stolen from Justice, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 8:55 p.m. Jan. 26 by three suspects described as one black man and two black women in their late teens. The man is described as having been wearing a blue and white jacket while one of the women was wearing a long, olive-green and brown coat.

$1,779.95 worth of merchandise was stolen by unknown suspects from Victoria’s Secret, 95 N. Moorland Road, sometime during the night of Jan. 26.

A purse containing a credit card, driver’s license, reading glasses and $25.20 in cash was stolen at Ross Dress for Less, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, sometime before 12:33 p.m. Jan. 28. The complainant reported having left her purse on the sales counter and later noticed it was missing and that the credit card had been fraudulently used.

A 27-year-old man was cited for retail theft at Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at 2:21 p.m. Jan. 28.

A cellphone valued at $600 was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at Bed Bath and Beyond, 605 Main Street, at approximately 3 p.m. Jan. 28.

A purse containing bank cards, a checkbook, keys and $20 in cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at Subway, 2205 N. Calhoun Road, at approximately 3:30 p.m. Jan. 28.

A backpack containing a Macbook Pro, a speaker and Adderall was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1900 block of Norhardt Drive sometime before 7:58 p.m. Jan. 28.

Assault

A 52-year-old man was taken into custody for domestic violence/battery at a residence in the 3200 block of Dartmouth Drive at 8:52 a.m. Jan. 25 after allegedly striking his 24-year-old daughter multiple times with an open hand and a leather belt the previous night. According to the complainant, the father had become upset when the daughter told him that she had a boyfriend.

Drug possession

An 18-year-old man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and obstructing an officer in the 21400 block of Red Fox Drive at 9:28 p.m. Jan. 27.

OWI

A 30-year-old man was taken into custody for third-offense OWI after a traffic stop at Pick ‘n Save, 15170 W. Greenfield Ave., at 2:18 a.m. Jan. 26.

Other

A 16-year-old boy was cited for disorderly conduct after being caught with a pocket knife at Brookfield Central High School, 16900 Gebhardt Road, at 9:48 a.m. Jan. 26.

A 56-year-old man was taken into custody for domestic violence/disorderly conduct after police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 1600 block of Alvin Lane at 8:18 a.m. Jan. 28.

TOWN OF BROOKFIELD

OWI

A 43-year-old man was taken into custody for OWI after a traffic stop at North Janacek Road and West Bluemound Road at 9:19 p.m. Jan. 24.

Other

A 49-year-old man was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and expelling bodily fluids at a police officer after police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 7200 block of Westbrooke Parkway at 8:39 p.m. The suspect spat on a police officer while being taken into custody.

ELM GROVE

Vandalism

A residence in the 2000 block of Hawthorne Drive was egged by unknown suspects sometime between midnight and 9 a.m. Jan. 29.

A residence in the 1100 block of Woodland Avenue was shot with paint balls and egged sometime during the night of Jan. 28 or early morning hours of Jan. 29.

Other

An 18-year-old man was cited for underage possession of alcohol after a traffic stop at West Bluemound Road and Park Circle at 12:30 a.m. Jan. 28.

A man of undisclosed age was cited for operating a vehicle with a prohibited blood alcohol content after a traffic stop in the 13000 block of West Bluemound Road at 1:42 a.m. Jan. 28. The man had been restricted to a blood alcohol content of less than 0.02 but a test revealed it to be 0.071. A firearm was also located in the vehicle and a charge for a concealed weapon was forwarded to the district attorney’s office.
