Burglary

A safe containing jewelry was stolen from a residence in the 600 block of Charleston Court sometime between Jan. 17 and 11:36 a.m. Jan. 19.

Theft

An iPhone was reported stolen at Brookfield East High School, 3305 Lilly Road, sometime around noon Jan. 11. The owner had been working in a classroom and left to get lunch when the phone went missing.

A 46-year-old woman was taken into custody and held on a retail theft charge at Pick 'n Save, 17295 W. Capitol Drive, at 10:49 a.m. Jan. 17.

A 26-year-old woman was cited for retail theft after attempting to conceal merchandise at Target, 12725 W. Bluemound Road, at 2:24 p.m. Jan. 17.

A 57-year-old woman reported that her wallet was stolen by her 36-year-old son at North 124th Street and West North Avenue at 5:51 p.m. Jan. 17. The son allegedly then proceeded to use a debit card fraudulently.

A 34-year-old man was taken into custody with a charge referred to the district attorney for retail theft after attempting to conceal merchandise at Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at 8:03 p.m. Jan. 18.

A handbag and five pairs of shoes were stolen from Designer Shoe Warehouse, 17300 W. Bluemound Road, sometime during the day Jan. 19.

A black 2013 Ford Expedition was stolen from a residence in the 4500 block of North 161st Street sometime before 6:53 a.m. Jan. 20. The vehicle was unlocked and there was a spare key in the center console. The vehicle was later recovered.

A tan 1997 Toyota Camry was stolen from a residence in the 16700 block of West Lisbon Road sometime before 7:49 a.m. Jan. 20. The vehicle was unlocked and the keys were inside. The vehicle was later recovered.

$2,054.94 worth of electronics was stolen from Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, by two suspects described as black men at 2:38 p.m. Jan. 20.

A 34-year-old man was taken into custody for retail theft at Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at 7:21 p.m. Jan. 20.

A number of items with an undisclosed total value were stolen from a storage unit in the 16500 block of Pheasant Drive sometime before 3 p.m. Jan. 21.

Drug possession

A 51-year-old man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance at the Courtyard Marriott, 16865 W. Bluemound Road, at 9 p.m. Jan. 16.

Vandalism

A residence in the 4200 block of Lilly Road was egged sometime before 9:28 a.m. Jan. 18.

Drug possession

A 20-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man were taken into custody with charges referred to the district attorney’s office for possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia at Motel Six, 20300 W. Bluemound Road, at 6:02 p.m. Jan. 20. The man was also referred for a count of obstructing an officer after initially providing a false identity.

A 22-year-old woman was taken into custody for possession of cocaine after a traffic stop at West Bluemound Road and North Brookfield Road at 8:32 p.m. Jan. 23.

ELM GROVE

Theft

A pair of women’s ice skates, two iPhone chargers and vehicle purchase paperwork were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 13200 block of West Bluemound Road sometime before 3:46 p.m. Jan. 21.

Drug possession

A woman was cited for possession of narcotic equipment after a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Pilgrim Parkway at 1:41 a.m. Jan. 20.
