Three thefts of cash at $200 each taken from a cash register in what was listed as the “concession area” at Midwest Orthopedics Sports Complex, 19485 W. Lisbon Road, the mornings of Dec. 12, 14 and 19. A woman driving a silver Toyota has been identified as a suspect.
A 34-year-old man was cited for shoplifting electronic items valued at $290 at Target, 12725 W. Bluemound Road, at 11:45 a.m. Dec. 19.
A male was seen taking Five Hour Energy Drinks valued at $550 at Walgreens, 15738 W. Capitol Drive, at 2:13 p.m. Dec. 21. The same man returned to the store and was able to flee with more energy drinks valued at about $150 at 8:30 a.m. Dec. 23.
A wallet with $80 cash and credit cards was taken when left in a cart at Target, 12725 W. Bluemound Road, between 11 and 11:30 a.m. Dec. 22.
A male was seen taking a laptop valued at $1,000 and fleeing Fred Astaire Dance Studio, 15760 West Capitol Drive, about 9:45 a.m. Dec. 23.
Two packages holding clothing valued at $460 were taken from a front porch in the 13300 block of Richard Road sometime Dec. 23.
A 35-year-old woman was cited for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop in the 1200 block of South Moorland Road at 12:30 a.m. Dec. 22.
A 19-year-old woman was cited for possession of marijuana and along with an 18-year-old woman for possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop in the 600 block of Main Street at 11:36 p.m. Dec. 23.
A 53-year-old woman was cited for OWI after she was stopped for an unsafe lane deviation on North 158th Street at Lisbon Road at 1:27 a.m. Dec. 21. Her blood alcohol content was 0.17.
A 52-year-old man was cited for OWI and obstruction/attempting to spit on an officer in the 16900 block of West Capitol Drive at 2:19 a.m. Dec. 21. The man was uncooperative and after being taken into custody continued to struggle with officers.
A 46-year-old woman was cited for her second OWI and refusal to take a breath test after she was seen weaving in traffic and then driving into a ditch in the 13400 block of West Hampton Road at 7:10 p.m. Dec. 22. A warrant was issued and she was taken for a blood draw.
A 53-year-old man was cited for OWI after driving off the road at West Capitol and Mitchell Park drives at 11 p.m. Dec. 23.
A resident reported someone used his ID to open two Pay Pal Accounts and then purchased items valued at over $888 Dec. 10 and 12. The resident called police after receiving a bill for the items Dec. 21.
A resident reported that after putting his house up for sale, he found someone had posted it for rent on Craigslist Dec. 22.
TOWN OF BROOKFIELD
A man was cited for OWI after being stopped for driving without headlights on Long View Drive at East Moreland Boulevard at 10 p.m. Dec. 22. His blood alcohol content was 0.17.
A woman was cited for issuing a worthless check at Hobby Lobby, 18200 West Bluemound Road, Dec. 20. The woman used that check to buy items and then went to the Menomonee Falls store and returned the items for an in-store credit.
A woman was cited for obstruction after police were called because the woman was being disorderly arguing with an employee about her room charge at Extended Stay Hotel, 325 N. Brookfield Road, at 7:30 a.m. Dec. 23. The woman lied about who she was, showing a fake ID. After cited, she said she used a fake ID because she was a security guard.
Two people were cited for shoplifting four bottles of vodka valued at $132 at Walgreens, 15350 West Bluemound Road, at 1:32 p.m. Dec. 20. They fled the store and drove away but were stopped by Wauwatosa police at Wauwatosa and Milwaukee avenues. The vodka was recovered and they were notified that they were no longer welcome at the store.
A female was cited for driving with a revoked license, OWI-related, failure to install an ignition interlock device and two warrants after being stopped for defective headlights at North Avenue and Lilly Road at 8:58 p.m. Dec. 23.
A male was cited for his second OWI, carrying a concealed weapon, driving with a suspended license and failure to keep his car under control after he drove into a ditch on Gebhardt Road at Berkshire Drive about 8 p.m. Dec. 25. The man, who admitted drinking and smoking marijuana, was in possession of brass knuckles without a conceal carry permit. He failed field sobriety tests and was taken for a blood draw.
A husband and wife reported fraudulent use of their personal information after being notified that their identities had been used to open Capitol One credit cards that were not authorized Dec. 19. The cards were cancelled.
Residents reported fraudulent use of their Chase credit card Dec. 21. They then cancelled that card and a new one was issued. The residents used the new card and “shortly thereafter” they learned that “thousands were charged” fraudulently on that new card. In addition, the person using this card requested a new one and submitted a new phone number and a new e-mail address to someone in Georgia.
