Theft

A wallet was stolen from inside a purse while it hung from a chair at Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurant, 15 S. Moorland Road, sometime before 7:25 p.m. Dec. 12. Credit cards from the wallet were later used fraudulently.

A man of undisclosed age was charged with one count of theft after attempting to steal a case of soap prior to his shift beginning at Brookfield Rehabilitation and Specialty Care, 18740 W. Bluemound Road, at 8:37 a.m. Dec. 14.

A personalized license plate reading “PRVI” was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 12800 block of Winthrop Court sometime before 9:40 a.m. Dec. 14.

An 18-year-old woman was cited for retail theft after attempting to steal merchandise from Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at 4:26 p.m. Dec. 15.

$939 was stolen from a cash drawer at Aspen Dental, 12455 W. Capitol Drive, sometime between 5 and 7 p.m. Dec. 15.

A 17-year-old girl was cited for theft by virtue of employment and possession of marijuana at Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at 7:02 p.m. Dec. 15.

Approximately $4,000 worth of tools and copper fittings were stolen from a locked rear compartment of a box truck parked at a residence in the 700 block of Harvey Avenue sometime between 10:30 p.m. Dec. 15 and 5:20 a.m. Dec. 16.

An 18-year-old woman was cited for theft by virtue of employment after stealing shoes from Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at 12:26 p.m. Dec. 16.

A 26-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man were taken into custody for retail theft after attempting to steal merchandise from Buckle, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 3:42 p.m. Dec. 16.

An 18-year-old woman was cited for theft by virtue of employment after doing unauthorized markdowns at Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at 3:42 p.m. Dec. 17.

A 16-year-old girl was taken into custody for theft by virtue of employment at Sears, 115 S. Moorland Road, at 4:37 p.m. Dec. 17.

Three 14-year-old girls were cited for retail theft at Zumiez, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 2:05 p.m. Dec. 18.

A Les Paul guitar valued at $4,799 was stolen from Guitar Center, 17135 W. Bluemound Road, sometime between 4 and 5:50 p.m. Dec. 18. The guitar had been in a locked wall hanger; however, the hanger had been broken.

Drug possession

A 28-year-old woman was cited for possession of marijuana at West Capitol Drive and Pilgrim Road at 8:52 p.m. Dec. 18.

OWI

A 60-year-old man was cited for first offense OWI after a traffic stop at North Calhoun Road and West Wisconsin Avenue at 1:08 a.m. Dec. 16. According to a breath test, the man’s blood alcohol content was 0.17.

A 33-year-old man was taken into custody for first offense OWI after his vehicle was located in a ditch at Wirth Park, 16200 W. North Ave., at 3:03 a.m. Dec. 17. The man’s blood alcohol content was 0.15.

Other

A 24-year-old woman was cited for disorderly conduct at Journey’s, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 5:54 p.m. Dec. 14 after she shouted obscenities and pushed her manager after being fired.

TOWN OF BROOKFIELD

Assault

A 69-year-old man was taken into custody after allegedly choking and striking a 27-year-old woman a number of times at a residence in the 20100 block of Linden Lane at 11:03 p.m. Dec. 18.

Theft

An iPad valued at $379 was stolen from the Richardson School, 175 S. Barker Road, sometime before 8:33 a.m. Dec. 15.

VILLAGE OF ELM GROVE

Burglary

A snowblower valued at $900 was stolen from an open garage at a residence in the 12600 block of Elmhurst Parkway sometime between 4 and 4:10 p.m. Dec. 18.

Drug possession

A man or boy of undisclosed age was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at a residence in the 15300 block of Brojan Drive at 12:43 p.m. Dec. 15.

OWI

A woman was cited for first offense OWI after a traffic stop at Watertown Plank Road and Sunnyslope Road at 12:12 a.m. Dec. 13. According to a preliminary breath test, the woman’s blood alcohol content was 0.188.
