CITY OF BROOKFIELD

Theft

A concrete saw valued at $892.30 and a compactor valued at $1,844.51 were stolen from a construction site at Wisconsin Memorial Cemetery, 13235 W. Capitol Drive. The saw was stolen sometime between noon and 3 p.m. Dec. 1 and the compactor was stolen sometime during the night of Dec. 4.

A 20-year-old woman and a 19-year-old woman were taken into custody for one count of felony retail theft at JC Penney, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 9:03 p.m. Dec. 5. A 23-year-old woman was also cited for possession of marijuana.

An unknown suspect stole $35 in cash from Elmbrook Senior Taxi, 17825 W. Riverbirch Drive, sometime between 5 p.m. Dec. 3 and 7:30 a.m. Dec. 5. The complainant told police that 18 employees have access to where the cash was kept.

A number of clothing items valued at $170 were stolen from a shipping package left in a mailbox in the 16500 block of La Vela Circle sometime before 1:15 p.m. Dec. 6.

A TI-84 Plus calculator valued at $110 was stolen at Brookfield East High School sometime during the morning of Dec. 6.

Approximately $70 in cash was stolen from a wallet at JC Penney, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 6. A woman reported that she left her wallet on a counter in the jewelry department and the subject later removed the cash prior to returning the wallet. The suspect was described as a black woman in her late 20s or early 30s standing 5’11” and weighing 200 to 250 pounds with long braided hair and wearing a red hoodie and blue sweatpants.

An undisclosed amount of merchandise was stolen from Target, 12725 W. Bluemound Road, at 4:28 p.m. Dec. 7. The complainant reported that three subjects described as two black women and one black man, were rapidly selecting merchandise and the man then exited first and parked his vehicle at the front exit. Loss prevention employees attempted to stop the women as they exited and merchandise was located in a car seat. The women pushed past the employees and the vehicle, described as a red minivan, was last seen heading east on Bluemound.

A 21-year-old man was taken into custody for one count of misdemeanor retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 6:52 p.m. Dec. 7.

Four Adidas sweatshirts valued at $60 each, an Adidas dress valued at $60 and two Calvin Klein sweatshirts valued at $69 each were stolen from Pac Sun, 95  N. Moorland Road, at around 7:15 p.m. Dec. 7 by four suspects described as black women.

A 15-year-old boy was cited for retail theft after attempting to steal a coat from JC Penney, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 7:50 p.m. Dec. 8.

11 Nike sweatshirts valued at $495 were stolen from JC Penney, 95 N. Moorland Road, by two suspects described as black men at approximately 7 p.m. Dec. 9. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle described as a grey minivan.

A 34-year-old man was taken into custody with charges referred to the district attorney’s office for retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after attempting to conceal headphones at Sears, 115 S. Moorland Road, at 11:07 a.m. Dec. 10.

A backpack containing clothes was taken from a vehicle parked Mr. B’s Steakhouse, 18380 W. Capitol Drive, sometime before 10:24 p.m. The backpack was later found next to another vehicle that had been broken into. Nothing else was reported missing from either vehicle.

Two bottles of liquor were stolen from Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 5:29 p.m. Dec. 11 by a suspect described as a black man wearing a black or blue jacket, a blue winter hat and an orange, single shoulder strap backpack.

Drug possession

A 51-year-old man was taken into custody for OWI and possession of marijuana after a traffic stop in the 15200 block of West Greenfield Avenue at 12:14 a.m. Dec. 7.

A 40-year-old woman was cited for first offense OWI and referred to the district attorney’s office for one count of possession of drug paraphernalia after an accident at North Calhoun Road and West North Avenue at 12:01 p.m. Dec. 8.

A student of undisclosed age and gender was cited for possession of marijuana at Brookfield East High School, 3305 Lilly Road, at 9:11 a.m. Dec. 9.

TOWN OF BROOKFIELD

Assault

A 35-year-old man was taken into custody for battery after getting into a physical confrontation with his girlfriend at a residence in the 18800 block of Madeline Lane at 11:16 p.m. Dec. 7. During the confrontation, the girlfriend stated that the man slammed her head into the bathroom floor multiple times.

Drug possession

A woman was cited for disorderly conduct, possession of alcohol while underage and possession of marijuana after getting into a physical altercation with a man at Quality Inn, 20150 W. Bluemound Road, at 11:09 p.m. Dec. 9.

A 29-year-old man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at Davidson Road and Kossow Road at 6:01 p.m. Dec. 9.

A 34-year-old woman was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at North Barker Road and I-94 at 8:02 p.m. Dec. 10.

OWI

A 55-year-old woman was taken into custody for third offense OWI after an accident at West Bluemound Road and North Brookfield Road at 8:07 a.m. Dec. 12. The woman’s blood alcohol content, according to a breath test, was 0.266.

VILLAGE OF ELM GROVE

Theft

Four packages containing ink cartridges with a total value of $1,198.66 were stolen from a truck at UPS, 12400 W. Bluemound Road, at 3:52 p.m. Dec. 9.
