CITY OF BROOKFIELD

Robbery

A 27-year-old man was referred to the district attorney’s office for a charge of strong-arm robbery after allegedly stealing a number of items from Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at 3:41 p.m. Nov. 28. A loss prevention employee reported that the subject concealed the items in a fitting room and, upon being confronted, fought with employees before fleeing the scene. The subject was identified at a later time.

Burglary

A generator and a number of tools were stolen from a construction site in the 18200 block of Prairie Falcon Lane sometime between 4 p.m. Nov. 13 and 7:41 a.m. Nov. 28. Multiple locks were cut off of a construction trailer in order to gain access to the property.

A residence in the 3700 block of Richland Parkway was broken into sometime before 1:50 a.m. Dec. 3. The complainant noted that upon arriving home, they observed forced entry through the front door of the residence and that two rooms had been disturbed; however, it is believed that nothing was taken.

Theft

$65 was stolen from a wallet by an unknown suspect described as a black man. The complainant told police that he had left his wallet on the counter at BP, 3075 N. 124th St., at 4:03 p.m. Nov. 18. Upon returning, he discovered that the cash was missing and security footage showed the suspect remove it from the wallet. The suspect left the scene in a vehicle described as a light blue Hyundai Santa Fe.

An iPhone 7 was stolen from AT&T, 17365 W. Bluemound Road, at 7:57 p.m. Nov. 28 by a suspect described as a man standing 6 feet tall with black hair, a black beard, wearing blue jeans and a beige sweater and weighing approximately 160 pounds.

$400 in cash and an iPhone were stolen from a woman’s purse at Kohl’s, 2315 N. 124th St., at approximately 10 a.m. Nov. 29.

A coat was stolen from the east vestibule of Brookfield Central High School, 16900 Gebhardt Road, at approximately 10:35 p.m. Nov. 29. Surveillance footage revealed the suspect to be a 16-year-old Waukesha South High School student.

Two fragrance products with a total value of $36.59 were stolen from TJ Maxx, 17460 W. Bluemound Road, at approximately 4:27 p.m. Nov. 30 by an unknown suspect described as a black man standing 6 feet tall with an Afro and wearing a Green Bay Packers hat, a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans. The suspect left the scene in a vehicle described as a red Toyota Corolla with a license plate of 552-XLR.

An 18-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl were cited for theft by virtue of employment after taking gift cards and cash at Target, 12725 W. Bluemound Road, at 6:11 p.m. Nov. 30. The woman was also cited for possession of marijuana.

A debit card was stolen at a residence in the 600 block of Forest Grove Court sometime during the morning of Dec. 1. The complainant suspected her granddaughter of the theft. The granddaughter denied it; however, surveillance footage from a gas station where fraudulent charges were made showed the granddaughter.

A credit card was stolen at Tri City Bank, 17100 W. Bluemound Road, sometime before 3:59 p.m. Dec. 1. The complainant stated that he forgot the card in the ATM and that someone took it and used it.

$21 in cash was stolen from a purse at Silverado Memory Care, 1105 Davidson Road, sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Nov. 30.

A 31-year-old man was taken into custody for retail theft after attempting to steal a coat valued at $230 from JC Penney, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 7:34 p.m. Dec. 1.

A wedding ring valued at $13,500 was stolen at Xperience Fitness, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, at approximately 5 p.m. Dec. 1. The complainant told police that she removed her ring and placed it on a treadmill that she was using. She then left to get a drink and, upon returning, the ring was gone.

A Wisconsin driver's license and three debit or credit cards were stolen from a vehicle parked at the Sheraton, 375 S. Moorland Road, sometime before 4:38 p.m. Dec. 2. There were no signs of forced entry and fraudulent charges were later observed on one of the cards.

Four or five coats were stolen from Burlington Coat Factory, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, at approximately 5:13 p.m. Dec. 3. An unknown suspect described as a black man age 40 took the merchandise and fled eastbound on Capitol in a vehicle described as a black four-door sedan.

A 15-year-old girl was cited for retail theft after attempting to steal $42.80 worth of merchandise from Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 9:49 p.m. Dec. 3.

An iPhone was stolen at Walgreens, 15738 W. Capitol Drive, sometime before 10:06 p.m. Dec. 3. The complainant told police that they had forgotten the phone on the counter at the store and upon returning were not able to locate it.

An unknown amount of merchandise was stolen from Burlington Coat Factory, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, at 6:53 p.m. Dec. 4 by a suspect described as a black woman.

Drug possession

An 18-year-old woman was taken into custody for first offense OWI, possession of marijuana and possession of two controlled substances at S. Moorland Road and Hackberry Lane at 10:52 p.m. Nov. 28.

An 18-year-old man and a 20-year-old man were referred to the district attorney’s office for charges of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop in the 500 block of Adelmann Court at 12:30 a.m. Dec. 3.

OWI

A 45-year-old woman was cited for first offense OWI after a traffic stop at West Capitol Drive and Lilly Road at 9:30 p.m. Dec. 1. The woman’s blood alcohol content was 0.24. The woman was also cited for having a child under 16 years old in the vehicle.

Other

A 53-year-old man was taken into custody with a charge referred to the district attorney’s office for domestic violence/disorderly conduct after a verbal argument with his brother at a residence in the 1000 block of Wilson Drive at 9:23 a.m. Nov. 28 escalated. The brother told police that the 53-year-old subject had allegedly become irate over a disagreement on food preparation and had thrown canned goods at him. The brother fled for his safety but later returned to the residence and found that the subject had broken shelves and dumped food all over the place.

A 28-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct after being caught urinating in the parking lot of U.S. Bank, 16900 W. Capitol Drive, at 1:22 a.m. Nov. 30.

A 32-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct at Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moorland Road, after allegedly threatening a store employee at 1:29 p.m. Dec. 1.

Other

A 27-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct after creating a disturbance at George Webb, 19555 W. Bluemound Road, at 1:01 a.m. Nov. 30.

VILLAGE OF ELM GROVE

Drug possession

A man of undisclosed age was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 15300 block of West Bluemound Road at 1:38 a.m. Dec. 4.
