TOWN OF BROOKFIELD - Shoppers looking for something unique but stylish can explore some options and take part in a grand opening celebration at the same time.
Scout & Molly's, a women's fashion boutique, will be hosting its grand opening celebration this weekend at The Corners.
The festivities will begin Friday, Aug. 11 and run through Sunday, Aug. 13 with owner Kara Rankin and her staff ready to show off the store's variety of one-of-a-kind clothing and accessories.
The weekend will kick off with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. Friday. Fun treats and giveaways will be available and a professional make-up artist will also be on hand Friday afternoon. The store will even host a live DJ in the evening.
"I have always enjoyed helping my friends and family pick out clothing and accessories that make them feel amazing about themselves, whether they are headed to a job interview, a special date, or a fun girls' night out," Rankin said.
Rankin has plenty of roots in the local community having lived in southeastern Wisconsin with her family for most of their lives. She also works part-time as the recreation program coordinator at the Elmbrook United Soccer Club.
"Stepping into Scout & Molly's is like stepping into your best girlfriend's closet — it's a relaxed atmosphere where you can feel comfortable and confident that you'll find unique, fun items to fit your style," Rankin said.
