Over $2,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from a residence in the 600 block of Charleston Court sometime between 12:30 and 5 p.m. July 6. A rear, sliding door had been forced open.


$20 in cash was reported stolen from a nightstand at Brookfield Rehabilitation and Specialty Care, 18740 W. Bluemound Road, sometime between 8 and 11:04 a.m. July 3.

Two Calvin Klein caps valued at $83.98 were stolen from Pac Sun, 95 N. Moorland Road, at approximately noon July 3 by two suspects described as a black man age 18 to 19 wearing a yellow cap with a green alligator on it and carrying a Champs bag and a black woman carrying a brown Banana Republic bag.

A tank top was stolen from Buckle, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 12:17 p.m. July 3 by a suspect described as a black woman. The woman fled the scene in a vehicle described as a black Impala heading east on I-94.

$62 in cash was stolen from a nightstand at Brookfield Rehabilitation and Specialty Care, 18740 W. Bluemound Road, sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. July 3.

An iPhone 7 Plus was stolen from atop the checkout counter at H & M, 95 N. Moorland Road, sometime around 4:40 p.m. July 4. Surveillance footage showed a suspect described as an Asian man in his late 30s with slicked-back, black hair and wearing a black shirt with gray writing, khaki shorts and black Adidas low top shoes. The man was accompanied by a woman described as Asian, in her late 20s with long brown and blond hair and wearing a maroon tank top, short jean shorts and white shoes.

Approximately $60 in merchandise was stolen from outside Goodwill, 18605 W. Bluemound Road, between 8:45 and 9:05 p.m. July 4. Surveillance footage showed two women rummaging through a pile of donations and taking some. They also left a mess and broke several items and one was observed urinating in the parking lot.

A number of undisclosed items were stolen from a trailer parked at Milwaukee Electric Tool, 13135 W. Lisbon Road, sometime before 11:21 a.m. July 6. A lock on the trailer had been cut.

Approximately $1,300 worth of tools were stolen from an unlocked work van parked at Pick ‘n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, sometime before 2:56 p.m. July 6.

A wallet containing credit cards, a driver’s license and a Social Security card was stolen from a locked vehicle in the parking lot of Brookfield Central High School, 16900 Gebhardt Road, sometime between 4:15 and 6:15 p.m. July 6. The vehicle’s windows had been one-fourth open, according to the complainant.

An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from the candle collection boxes at St. John Vianney, 1755 N. Calhoun Road, sometime between July 3 and July 6.

A lawn mower and a weed trimmer were stolen from a shed at Central Bark Doggy Day Care, 3675 N. 124th St., sometime between July 2 and noon July 7. A lock on the shed had been removed.

Three bottles of alcohol valued at $86.97 were stolen from Piggly Wiggly, 2315 N. 124th Street, at 8:18 p.m. July 8. The two suspects were described as a skinny white woman with blond hair and a heavier-set white woman with black hair. The suspects fled in a vehicle described as a white Buick with a license plate of 616-WTU.

Drug possession

A 17-year-old boy was taken into custody for possession of marijuana after his father reported finding marijuana and a glass pipe at their residence in the 2700 block of Woodbridge Court at 12:11 p.m. July 6.

A 26-year-old man was taken into custody for a valid felony warrant through Milwaukee County for a sex offender registration violation at Pick ‘n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 1:12 p.m. July 6. The man was charged with one count of possessing/illegally obtaining a prescription and one count of felony bail jumping.


A resident in the 4100 block of Kamala Lane reported that sometime between 11 a.m. July 3 and 11:45 a.m. July 4 an unknown suspect left a handwritten note in her mailbox that was vulgar and sexual in nature.

Police responded to Target, 12725 W. Bluemound Road, after a woman reported that sometime between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. July 5 a man exposed himself in the parking lot.

A 56-year-old woman was taken into custody for domestic violence/disorderly conduct after an alleged physical altercation with her husband at a residence in the 17700 block of Bermuda Boulevard at 8:05 p.m. July 7.

A 32-year-old woman was taken into custody for disorderly conduct at Town Place Suites, 600 N. Calhoun Road, at 3:44 a.m. July 9 after police responded to her and another woman loudly and profanely arguing. It also appeared that the suspect had struck the other woman in the face and possibly broken her nose, but the other woman did not wish to press charges.

Town of Brookfield


Two suspects attempted to steal $361.04 worth of merchandise from Dunham’s Sports, 18200 W. Bluemound Road, at 7:28 p.m. July 3. After being confronted by a store employee some of the merchandise was returned, but the suspects then left the scene in a vehicle with a license plate of 660-PTD listed to a 1996 four-door Ford Contour. The remaining merchandise was later found in a dumpster at a nearby bar. One suspect is described as a white man with a larger build in his 30s or 40s wearing a tan baseball cap, a black short-sleeve windbreaker, grey jogging pants and Nike shoes.

A 48-year-old man was cited for theft at Motel 6, 20300 W. Bluemound Road, at 12:57 a.m. July 7 after stealing a debit card from the lobby area and making a $37 fraudulent charge at a nearby gas station.

Drug possession

An 18-year-old man was cited for possession of marijuana at McDonald’s, 18695 W. Bluemound Road, at 4:13 p.m. July 5.

Elm Grove


A package valued at $19.20 was stolen from the mail room of a residence in the 12900 block of West Bluemound Road sometime between 4:22 and 5 p.m. July 5.

A car radio valued at $100 was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 1000 block of Grandview Drive sometime between 10 p.m. July 5 and 11:30 a.m. July 6.


Two juveniles of undisclosed age were cited for trespassing after gaining access to the roof of Pilgrim Park Middle School, 1500 Pilgrim Parkway, at 1:33 p.m. June 30.
