TOWN OF BROOKFIELD - The latest exciting eatery at The Corners has set an opening date.
Café Hollander has announced that it will open its fifth location Tuesday, May 30.
The restaurant will feature a rooftop deck, lounge area, street-level patio seating, 38 different beers on tap and direct access from The Corners' parking garage.
Diners who want a sneak peek at Hollander will be able to enjoy a soft opening charity benefit scheduled this weekend, May 19 through 21.
The weekend will help to train new staff and the restaurant will be donating 100 percent of its food sales to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and the Food Pantry of Wisconsin. Similar events in the past have raised over $65,000 for local charities since 2015.
The Lowlands Group opened two Café Hollander locations in Mequon and Madison in the last two years.
Reservations for the soft opening are required and can be made online at cafehollander.eventbrite.com.
“We’re thrilled with how the space turned out and we can’t wait to add to the energy at The Corners,” said Dan Herwig, director of brand and marketing at Lowlands Group. “With every new location we open, we’re able to tell a bit more of a story with the design of our restaurants, including the use of reclaimed materials, old Belgian beer signs, photos from our trips to Europe and other elements. We hope to wow our guests when they walk through the door.
The Corners is located at 20111 W. Bluemound Road and Café Hollander is sited near the Bluemound entrance.
