Thor (Chris Hemsworth) faces new battles in a strange world in 'Thor: Ragnarok.'

SAN DIEGO — Thor: Ragnarok is giving us the Thor/Hulk bromance we've always needed.

Director Taika Waititi, star Chris Hemsworth and the rest of the cast unleashed the new trailer Saturday at Comic-Con that features Thor (Hemsworth) and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) battling each other before becoming friends again, plus Thor putting together a supergroup — him, Hulk, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) — to take on the villainess Hela (Cate Blanchett).

It's definitely not your usual Thor or Marvel film, Hemsworth says. "I played this character five times This is Marvel’s 167th film or something. I got a bit bored with myself and wanted to try something different."

Meanwhile, when Thor first finds Hulk on a battle planet, "he refuses to turn back to Banner and he enjoys his time in Sakaar," Ruffalo says. "He kicks a lot of A and he's enjoying his life for once."
