Elizabeth Ness and Luke Johnson, both of Milwaukee, have announced their engagement.

Parents of the future bride are Kenneth and Mary Ellen Ness of Elm Grove. Parents of the future groom are Daniel and Patricia Johnson of Kenosha.

The bride-to-be graduated from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School in Milwaukee, and holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a juris doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. She is employed as an associate attorney at Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. in Milwaukee.

The groom-elect graduated from St. Joseph High School, and holds a bachelor's degree in legal studies and political science from UW-Madison. He is pursuing a master's degree in educational studies at the Johns Hopkins University School of Education. He is employed as a special education teacher at Trowbridge School in Milwaukee.

The couple is planning an August 2017 wedding at St. Mary's Visitation in Elm Grove.
