Pink performed at Summerfest's American Family Insurance Amphitheater on July 2. Brookfield police are looking into claims of counterfeit concert tickets sold through Craigslist.

Brookfield police have issued subpoenas to the website Craigslist to find information about who allegedly sold counterfeit tickets to see Pink at Summerfest on July 2.

According to an affidavit attached to the subpoena, a woman told police on Monday, June 26 she found a Craigslist post offering four Pink concert tickets at Summerfest for $150 each. She met with the male seller on Wednesday, June 28 and paid $600 cash for the tickets.

The affidavit said included with the tickets was a receipt showing an order number from Ticketmaster. Shortly after the sale, she suspected the Pink concert tickets purchased were counterfeit.

The woman contacted Ticketmaster and provided them with the order number listed on the receipt. Ticketmaster indicated that no such order existed and the order number provided was not in a format consistent with legitimate Ticketmaster order
numbers.

Another affidavit indicated a different woman noticed a post on Craigslist on July 1 offering four tickets to Pink at Summerfest for $200 each. The affidavit said the woman responded to the Craigslist post by email, asking if the tickets were still available and whether the seller would be willing to split the set and only sell two.

The person posting the Craigslist ad responded by email indicating the tickets were still available and he would be willing to sell only two of the four tickets.

The woman asked for a picture of the tickets to help determine their authenticity. She received a picture of the tickets and believed they looked legitimate.

She met with the seller on Sunday, July 2 and paid $400 for two concert tickets.

The affidavit said the woman went to Summerfest later that evening. She attempted to use the tickets but was denied entry as the tickets were counterfeit.
